Frank Rumpeltin


Frank Rumpeltin brings extensive executive level experience to the Schawbel consulting division.  Frank has more than thirty years of success in a variety of consumer manufacturing businesses from product management and division manager, to President, CEO, Chairman, and Board member.  Frank has successfully managed a start-up, turnarounds, plant closures, and consolidations.  The breadth of his experience includes global brand management strategies, new product development, engineering, and operations.

Mr. Rumpeltin has had total profit and loss responsibility in organizations that range in size from $150 million to more than $400 million.  His involvement in consumer manufacturing businesses includes companies such as G.D. Searle, Bausch & Lomb, and Hasbro where he held worldwide responsibility for the Playskool Division.  Frank has managed consumer brands, including Playskool and Barney and he successfully launched the Teletubbies brand in North America.  His management oversight and leadership skills range from a start-up with few employees to global businesses with thousands of employees.

Frank holds an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University.  He was a member of the Advisory Board of the Harvard University School of Public Health, the Board of the Center for Children’s Health in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Board of Directors of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association.
